It was a rainy day in the windy city and that suited us just fine. The weather was an invitation to pause and remember 9-11, as well as to take time for a restful day in our comfy room.
We caught up on this and that, looked at photos, worked on the blog and scrapbook, and wrote some postcards. To our delight, Giordano's would deliver their famous Chicago Style deep dish pizza right to our room. Thus, we had all that we needed at our fingertips!
We watched a documentary about 9-11, remembered the loss and the lessons, and counted our blessings.
